Centerless Grinding Machine is suitable for reboring of connecting rods of all types of diesel and petrol engines. Heavy duty centerless grinding machine is also suitable for reboring of forged connecting rods as well as those filled with white metal.
Casting & Other Steel Plants: All the casting of the machine is seasoned to achieve persistent accuracy. Carbon steel is used for spindles and other parts, while alloy steel is used for gears.
Bed: Designed with strong ribbing. The guideways are carefully hand-scraped for highest accuracy and checked using precision instruments.
Heads: Both heads are fitted with taper roller bearings with hardened & ground spindles. Self-lubrication provided.
Setting: Only a few minutes required to center and set tools, bore & face the rod completely.
Chuck: Two-jaw chucks and wrist pin fixture center the rod accurately and hold it securely for automatic boring.
Feed: Both end main slide feed is provided with automatic control via one lever, and hand operation is also possible.
Double Slide: Strongly ribbed slides ensure great rigidity and long-lasting service. Horizontal adjustment up to .001" is possible using the double slide mechanism for perfect rod alignment.
The jaw and clamp brackets are precision scraped and slide easily for horizontal adjustments according to the spindle alignment.
Extension boring mandrels are supplied — three mandrels for each spindle, ranging in size from 12mm to 30mm.
